What is a low pressure shower?

A low pressure shower is used to combat a low water pressure water system, in other words a gravity-fed system, this system uses gravity to supply water pressure to your home. In a low pressure system, water pressure is based on the height of the cold water storage tank in relation to the taps and showers in your home.

Water pressure of less than 1 bar is considered low pressure. For every meter the water tank is below a tap, the water pressure decreases by about 0.1 bar.

The Mira Elite SE is a pumped electric shower that was designed to make loud noisy showering a thing of the past. It takes cold water on low pressure (gravity fed systems) and silently delivers a strong and consistent performance.
